Networking can be a fun - and productive - summer activity, from meeting new people to reconnecting with old friends and acquaintances. But making new connections should not be your only focus. When it comes to truly effective networking, you need to stay connected.
 
Refer a Friend
One of the best ways to stay connected is to use the Refer a Friend feature on OneWire. By making referrals on OneWire, you send exciting opportunities to the individuals in your network and strengthen your connections with them.

When should you refer a friend? If you are matched to an opportunity that you do not want to pursue but know the perfect candidate, make a referral. You may even be eligible for a referral reward from the hiring company.

 
How to Begin
To determine if an opportunity is right for you, log in to your profile and click into one of your matches to review it. If you decide that you are not interested, you can refer up to three qualified candidates from your network by using the Refer A Friend button.

Before making your referrals, make sure that the position is relevant for the individuals you have chosen. Then, make sure that they are signed up on OneWire.
