Find the Best Candidates.
In the Shortest Time.
|
Dear Shannon,
On Friday, June 4, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released its Employment Situation Summary,
which indicates that unemployment in the United States edged down from
a 2010 high of 9.9 percent in April to 9.7 percent in May. This
decrease may be inspiring candidates - whether currently employed or
not - to look for new opportunities to advance their careers.

Passive Candidates
The Wall Street Journal
reports that February saw more workers voluntarily leave their current
positions than be let go for the first time since October 2008. As that
trend continues, more and more candidates may passively search for new
opportunities, or change their career status on OneWire to Open to
Opportunities, to advance their careers or embark on new career paths
altogether. On OneWire, you can efficiently find those passive
candidates to fill open positions in your company.

New Features
- Functional Search in Multiple Lines of Business
When
you select a functional role and identify its relationship to a line of
business, you can now stop at any level of the line of business
hierarchy to return all candidates with that role who served any of the
departments or company types below your selection.
For
example, when previously searching for Compliance Officers who served
the Alternative Investments community within the Finance & Banking
line of business, you were required to enter 7 separate criteria to
capture all the company types under Alternative Investments. Now, once
the Compliance Officer role is selected, you can stop at Alternative
Investments to return all Compliance Officers who served any of the
subsequent company types.
