Firms are Finding You.
More Often than You Think.
By
now, you know that the top financial services firms use OneWire to
search for the right candidates to fill their open opportunities. What
you might not know is that while these firms are looking to fill
hundreds of current openings, they are also conducting thousands of
private general searches – all the time. But what does this mean for
you?
Our clients are currently looking for candidates on OneWire
to fill hundreds of specific job openings, from roles in Financial
Services Operations and Trade Support to Leveraged Finance and Credit
Analysis. As a candidate on OneWire, you learn of many of these
positions as you are matched to them. But you should also keep in mind
that as these firms routinely conduct private general searches for
candidates who meet their overall criteria, you may be added to their
candidate pools and be considered for their future openings - even if a
match does not show up on your dashboard.
Our Privacy Policy
We aim to protect all OneWire users, including our clients
Just
as you have the ability to maintain a completely private profile, firms
have the ability to conduct completely private searches on OneWire.
This means that even though you may be matched to an opportunity, it
will not show up in the My Matches box on your dashboard if it is a
private search. Privacy is always our top priority, whether it is yours
or a firm’s.
During the times when firms are not hiring, though,
they may choose to prepare for future hiring by conducting searches on
OneWire for specific types of candidates. So instead of being matched
to a specific job, you may be added to a firm’s candidate base when you
meet their criteria. When that firm is ready to hire, you will already
have been found and placed in their candidate pool – and may be
considered for their relevant opportunities.

Your Best Bet
Add roles to define your positions
By
now, you also know that the best way to be matched to a relevant
opportunity – or added to a relevant candidate pool – is to add roles
to your profile. But why do we continue to ask you to do this?
Would
you ever send a hiring manager your resume if it contained only your
job titles and the companies for which you have worked? Of course not.
That information may paint a great picture of your overall work history
but does not provide any detail about your actual experience. Adding
roles helps you define your positions, just as you would on your
resume. That way, hiring managers know exactly the types of positions
for which you are qualified and in which you may be interested.
