Unemployment Unchanged

The unemployment rate remains at 9.7%. But what does this mean for job seekers?

Should they be worried that the rate is not any lower, but has remained constant for the first two months of 2010?

Or should they be hopeful that the rate is, at least, not any higher?

It is difficult to stay positive when the unemployment situation is not improving as quickly as we all would like it to. However, sticking to your job search game plan and remaining hopeful in your search can be the best ways to overcome the unemployment rate and not be part of the statistic.

When you stay positive in your search, you are better able to come up with new job search ideas that you may not have previously thought of or tried. You are also better able to motivate yourself to stick to your routine and continue to work hard.

Next week, you can expect another post that will help you figure out how to use OneWire to stay positive in your job search.
